Exposure’s DAC is a standalone digital-to-analogue converter built to sit at the heart of a modern hi-fi system, whichever Exposure electronics it’s paired with. A custom-made toroidal transformer with hum shield keeps the noise floor exceptionally low, while all-aluminium casework controls resonance and shields the circuit from interference. Both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs are provided, along with a 99-step digital volume control that lets it drive a power amplifier directly or run at a fixed 2V output into a conventional pre-amp.
