Astral 16 is Focal’s high-end audio/video processor and amplifier for custom home theater installations, developed in partnership with StormAudio (Immersive Audio Technologies). Like a conductor drawing the best out of an orchestra, it coordinates up to 16 channels — 12 self-powered via a Pascal Audio Class D amplifier and 4 pre-amplified balanced XLR outputs — dedicated to filtering, equalization and bass management, and supports every major 3D audio format including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D. Built-in Dirac Live room calibration and compatibility with Control4, Crestron, Elan, Savant and RTI make it the centerpiece of a genuinely professional custom install.
